Athletic Facilities Closures
Anderson Athletic Center
Anderson is the hub for Kalamazoo’s varsity sports. Built in 1981, it has the capacity of 2,000 and is the playing and practice site for volleyball, basketball, and spring sports (when they are forced indoors).
The newly renovated lobby houses the Kalamazoo College Athletic Hall of Fame, trophy case displays, a concession stand, and restrooms.
The west end of the building features offices for coaches and staff on the upper and lower levels. The lower level includes locker rooms, an athletic training room, the laundry/equipment room, and a golf studio. The main athletic offices are on the upper level along with a conference room and the student-athlete weight room.
Students/Faculty/Staff should carry their Kalamazoo College ID at all times and will need to swipe to gain access to the building after normal business hours and on weekends.
Athletic Fields Complex
The Athletic Fieldhouse is home to most of our outdoor sports. The complex houses MacKenzie Field (soccer and lacrosse), Angell Field (football), Woodworth Field (baseball), and the softball field. The Fieldhouse itself is equipped with offices, locker rooms, meeting rooms, the Hornet Suite, a kitchen, laundry facilities, and an athletic training room.
